What we collect

When you request a visit to Taylor’s Place, we collect the information you enter in the application: your contact details, information about your family and the family member facing illness, care and accessibility needs you choose to share, and your preferences for a stay. When you write to us through the contact form or sign up for event updates, we collect your name, email, and message. When you contact us by email, we keep the correspondence.

How we use it

We use application information for one purpose: to talk with you about a stay at Taylor’s Place and, if we welcome your family, to prepare the house and the property for you. We use contact information to respond to your questions and, only if you ask us to, to keep you informed about the Foundation.

Who sees it

Applications are read by the small group of Cotton Foundation staff and board members who arrange stays at Taylor’s Place. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else. If you tell us that you are working with a hospice, hospital, or care team and ask us to coordinate with them, we will contact only the people you name.

How we keep it

Applications are submitted over an encrypted connection and stored securely by our website host. We keep applications for as long as we need them to arrange or follow up on a stay, and we delete them when you ask us to.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to info@cottongives.org and we will take care of it.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or trackers. The videos on our pages are hosted with the site itself, not by a third party. If we add privacy-respecting analytics in the future, we will say so here.
